1. About House Holistic

House Holistic is a licensed esthetics studio located in Lehi, Utah, owned and operated by Melissa Meikle, a licensed esthetician in the state of Utah. Our services are intended for general skin wellness and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Services

House Holistic offers professional esthetic services including facial treatments, acne programs, and related skin care services. All services are performed by a licensed esthetician.

Not Medical Treatment

Our services are wellness and beauty services, not medical procedures. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any skin condition or medical issue. If you have a skin condition that may require medical attention, please consult a licensed dermatologist or physician.

Right to Decline Service

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if we believe a treatment is not appropriate for your skin condition, if a contraindication exists, or if we cannot safely perform the requested service.

3. Health and Safety

Intake Forms

You will be asked to complete an intake form before your first appointment. Please answer all questions honestly. Withholding relevant health information — including medications, allergies, skin conditions, or recent procedures — may affect the safety of your treatment.

Contraindications

Certain conditions may prevent us from performing specific services. These include but are not limited to active infections, open wounds, certain medications such as Accutane, recent cosmetic procedures, and pregnancy-related contraindications for certain treatments. We will discuss any concerns with you before beginning a service.

Allergies and Sensitivities

Please inform us of any known allergies or sensitivities before your appointment. We use professional-grade botanical and clinical products and will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, we cannot guarantee that all products are free of every possible allergen.

4. Booking and Appointments

By booking an appointment with House Holistic, you agree to our Booking Policy in full, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of your booking confirmation. We recommend arriving two to three minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service at the same price.

5. Card on File

A valid credit or debit card is required to hold all appointments. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. It is held securely through Square’s encrypted payment system to enforce our cancellation policy only. House Holistic does not store or have access to your full card number.

6. Products and Retail

Product Sales

We sell professional skincare products for home use. All sales are final unless a product arrives damaged or defective. If you experience an unexpected reaction to a product, please contact us immediately.

Product Advice

Product recommendations are based on our professional assessment of your skin and are not a substitute for medical advice. Individual results vary.

Online Sales

Products purchased through our online shop are shipped to addresses within the United States only. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the House Holistic website — including text, photography, design, and branding — is owned by House Holistic and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. By using our website or booking a service, you acknowledge that we collect and use your personal information to manage your appointments and communicate with you about your bookings. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, House Holistic’s liability for any claim arising from our services or products is limited to the amount you paid for the service or product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Esthetic services carry inherent risks including skin reactions, sensitivity, and temporary redness. By booking a service, you acknowledge these risks and agree that House Holistic is not liable for outcomes that fall within the normal range of risks associated with professional esthetic treatment.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at house-holistic.com/terms. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Utah County, Utah.
