Melissa — founder of House Holistic

Meet Melissa

I became an esthetician for the most human reason.

I wanted to help people.

Her Story

I have a passion for women’s health, wellness, and the skin and body connection. House Holistic was created because I felt that no skincare clinic I had ever been to deeply cared to look at the person as a whole.

Skincare treatments and products were either hurting people’s skin barriers or simply acting as a bandaid that would mask the bigger things going on below the surface.

Our skin is our largest organ and reflects our emotional and physical health in many ways. This is where I come in to create harmony and balance within the body and skin. Through massage, relaxation, and skincare created to work with your skin, rather than against it, I am able to create a lasting difference.

I’m inspired to create real confidence through the care of the skin and I want every person that walks in my studio to leave a little bit better as a human.

Training & Credentials

Certified in the approaches
that actually work.

Face Reality Certified

Face Reality is the gold standard in acne coaching. Their certification is rigorous, science-based, and built around understanding the internal and external triggers behind acne — not just treating breakouts after they appear. I sought it out because it’s the only approach I found that took acne as seriously as my clients do.

Botnia Holistic Esthetics Certified

Botnia is an independent, certified organic skincare line made on a farm in Northern California. Their training changed the way I think about ingredients — where they come from, how they behave, and why a freshly mixed mask is categorically different from anything out of a tube. I chose Botnia because their philosophy matches mine exactly.

Licensed Esthetician · Utah

Licensed in the state of Utah, practicing for over five years. Every year I add training — not because it’s required, but because the skin science keeps evolving and I want to keep up with it.

Melissa outside of work

On the days I’m not caring for others’ skin, I’m probably hiking with my husband and our one-year-old puppy, getting a matcha, or cooking a new recipe. I’m an avid lover of good food, a deep conversation, and spending time with people I love. The same care I put into those things is the care I bring into house holistic.

The Studio

A single room built around one thing.

House Holistic is a single-room studio on Main Street in Lehi — quiet, warm, and built entirely around one thing: giving you an hour that actually changes something.

I’ve been intentional about every part of the environment. The products on the shelves are the ones I trust and use myself. The music is low and unhurried. The table is warm before you get on it. Nothing in here is here by accident.

When you walk in, I want you to feel the shift. Not spa-loud, not clinical-sterile — just a space that was built with care, for people who deserve to be cared for.
