Booking Policy
We respect your time. We ask that you respect ours. This policy exists so that both of us can show up fully — you to your appointment, and Melissa to her work.

Scheduling
Appointments are available Monday through Saturday by appointment only. You can book online at any time through our website or contact us directly at hello@house-holistic.com.
All appointments are confirmed via email and text. Please check your confirmation for the correct date, time, and service. If anything looks incorrect, contact us immediately.
New Clients
First-time clients will receive a brief intake form to complete before their appointment. This helps Melissa understand your skin history, current concerns, and any health considerations before your visit. Please complete this before you arrive — it allows us to make the most of your time together.
Card on File
A valid credit or debit card is required to hold all appointments. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. It is stored securely through Square and used only in the event that our cancellation or no-show policy applies.
Cancellation Policy
Please cancel or reschedule before the day of your appointment to avoid a charge.
We understand that life happens. If you experience a genuine emergency, please reach out to us directly and we will do our best to work with you. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows will result in a requirement to prepay for future appointments or may result in being unable to book future services.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate your full service. However, out of respect for clients booked after you, your appointment may need to end at its originally scheduled time. The full service price applies regardless of the time available.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, we may need to cancel and reschedule your appointment. This will be treated as a late cancellation under our cancellation policy.
Illness
Please do not come to your appointment if you are feeling unwell. This includes symptoms of cold, flu, fever, active skin infections, or any contagious condition. Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule — we will waive the late cancellation fee for illness-related cancellations when you notify us before your appointment.
The Acne Clarity Program
The Acne Clarity Program is a three-month commitment. Upon enrollment, you agree to the following:
- —Biweekly appointments throughout the program
- —Consistent use of the prescribed home care routine
- —Open communication with Melissa between appointments about your skin's response
Program deposits are non-refundable. If you need to pause or discontinue the program, please speak with Melissa directly. We will always do our best to find a solution that works for both of us.
Results vary by individual. Commitment to both the in-studio appointments and the home care routine is essential to achieving the best possible outcome.
Refunds
Services are non-refundable once performed. If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please contact us within 48 hours and we will do everything we can to make it right. Your satisfaction matters deeply to us.
Retail products are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective. Defective products must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Children and Guests
Out of respect for all clients and to maintain the quiet, restorative environment of the studio, we ask that children not accompany you to your appointment unless they are receiving a service. We appreciate your understanding.
Right to Refuse Service
House Holistic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if we determine that a treatment is not safe or appropriate, or if a client is disrespectful toward Melissa or the studio environment.
